What the two days are.

Dry land firstForty minutes on the sand before anyone gets wet: where to lie, where the feet go, how to fall off.
White water on day oneWaves that have already broken, pushing you straight at the beach. Standing up is the only job.
Reading it on day twoWhere the water is going, which lump is worth taking, and why the paddle starts before the wave arrives.
Out the back, maybeIf the sea allows it, the last session is past the shore break and you catch it green.
The beach

Where you will actually be.

Taken from directly above at half tide. Everything a beginner needs is in the first thirty metres of it.

  1. 01The sand you walk in on
  2. 02The shore break
  3. 03The inside bank
  4. 04Green water
Two days in the same year

It is not always like the first one.

Move over the picture. Both of these are good surfing days here, and you would get in on either.

What we run.

Times move with the tide, so a booking is a day rather than an hour. We send the times the week before.

  3. 03Improver clinic£70 · you can already stand

Nobody has ever stood up because they were told how. They stand up because the eleventh wave is the one where they stop thinking about it.
