I'm Tom. I move families from one house to the next, and I pack every room the way it was lived in, so it can be unpacked the same way.

Books go in boxes in shelf order.

Every box says which room and which shelf it came from. Pictures are wrapped and labelled by the wall they hung on.

Nothing leaves the house until everything in it is packed, so nothing goes astray between one room and the next.

Then the house goes in the van.

One van and one crew, from the first box to the last. Your things are never handed on to somebody else's lorry halfway.

Local moves are done the same day. Longer ones stop overnight, and the van sleeps in our own locked yard, never on a street.
