Partner terms
Last updated: 12 October 2026 (version 2026-10-12.2)
Spatial Sites is operated by: Edward Burns, trading as Spatial Sites
Contact: contact@spatialsites.co
These terms are between Spatial Sites ("we", "us") and the person or business we accept into our partner programme ("you"). They apply alongside our website terms. If those terms conflict with these terms about the partner programme, these terms take priority.
1. Joining and your Partner Schedule
You can apply at /partners. We may accept or decline an application. Your partnership begins when we email you to confirm acceptance and provide your partner link, checkout code and access to your partner zone.
Your acceptance email will include a Partner Schedule stating your commission rate, attribution window, membership commission period, commission hold and any minimum payout. We will keep a copy of the schedule that applied when you joined. Your partner zone will show your current schedule and activity.
2. Promoting Spatial Sites
You need an Instagram account to take part. We recommend using a Comment to DM automation, such as ManyChat or a similar tool, to send your link to people who comment your chosen keyword. You do not have to use an automation. You may share your link manually.
Clearly identify promotional posts, Stories and Reels as advertising, with a prominent "Ad" label upfront or another disclosure that makes the advertising relationship equally clear. A checkout code on its own is not enough. If you use a Comment to DM automation, send the requested information only to people who have asked for it. Do not send later marketing messages unless you have the permission required by law.
You are responsible for following the rules of the platforms and tools you use. We may ask you to correct or remove a promotion that is inaccurate, unlawful or inconsistent with these terms.
3. How sales are attributed
A completed, paid sale is attributed to you in either of these ways:
- Your code is applied at checkout. The sale is yours whether the buyer entered the code or it was applied after they used your link. The code accepted by the checkout takes priority over any partner link or earlier referral associated with that buyer.
- The buyer is linked to you and buys within your attribution window. A new buyer becomes linked to you when they claim a free kit or create an account through your link and verify their email address by clicking the link in the verification email we send. A new buyer whose first payment uses your code is also linked to you. The attribution window starts on the later of the day the buyer becomes linked to you and the day they first claim a free kit, and lasts for the number of days in your Partner Schedule.
A buyer who was already linked to another partner or had previously bought from us cannot become linked to you through a later visit. However, a valid code applied at checkout still attributes that particular sale to the owner of the code; it does not change any existing buyer link.
We determine attribution using our transaction and referral records. You can ask us to review a sale you believe was recorded incorrectly, and we will investigate and correct an error we find.
4. Commission
You earn the percentage in your Partner Schedule on the amount the buyer actually pays after discounts and excluding VAT or other sales tax. We do not deduct our payment processing fees from that amount.
If a membership's first payment is attributed to you, you earn commission on payments actually made during the number of calendar months stated in your Partner Schedule, measured from that first payment. This continues even if the buyer's attribution window expires.
You do not earn commission on your own purchases, fraudulent or artificially generated sales, or amounts refunded or charged back. If a sale is partly refunded, its commission is reduced in the same proportion.
We hold commission for the number of days in your Partner Schedule after the relevant payment. Once that period has passed, the commission is cleared for payment, subject to any refund, chargeback or breach directly connected with that sale.
5. Paying you
We pay cleared commission in pounds sterling by PayPal, Wise or an agreed bank transfer. We pay by the 15th of the following calendar month, or the next business day if the 15th is not a business day. Payment depends on you providing correct payment details and reaching any minimum payout in your Partner Schedule. Unpaid amounts below the minimum carry forward.
You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. If VAT is properly chargeable on your commission, we will pay it in addition when you give us a valid VAT invoice.
If a sale is refunded or charged back after its commission has been paid, we may deduct the corresponding overpayment from future commission. We will show the adjustment in your partner zone or payment statement.
6. Promotion rules
You must not:
- bid on "Spatial Sites", our trading names or our checkout codes in paid search, or run ads that could be mistaken for ours;
- place your code on coupon, voucher or deal sites, or in public code directories;
- send spam or unsolicited marketing messages;
- make false or unsupported claims about Spatial Sites, including invented results, figures, reviews or endorsements;
- pretend to be Spatial Sites or suggest you are our employee or agent;
- generate commission through your own purchases, people you pay to buy, fraud or other artificial activity; or
- break the law or the rules of a platform you use.
You may share your code as part of your own genuine promotional content.
7. Our materials
The videos, images, copy, links and other materials in your partner kit belong to us or our licensors. While you are a partner, you may use them to promote Spatial Sites. Do not alter them in a misleading way, give others permission to use them, or use them for another purpose. Stop using them when the partnership ends.
8. Privacy and data
Your partner zone shows sales counts and commission amounts, not buyers' names or contact details. We handle buyer information used for purchases and attribution under our privacy notice.
You are responsible for personal information you collect or use through your own account, Comment to DM automation or other tools. Both of us must comply with the data protection and direct marketing laws that apply to our activities. If we later agree to exchange personal information for the programme, we will document the arrangement separately before doing so.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or your Partner Schedule by emailing you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. A sale completed before that date keeps the commission rate and terms that applied to it. A membership first attributed to you before that date also keeps its original rate and membership commission period.
Changes apply to other sales completed on or after the effective date. If you do not agree with a change, you may end the partnership before it takes effect.
10. Ending the partnership
Either of us may end the partnership at any time by email. We may suspend your link or code while we investigate suspected fraud or a serious breach, and may end the partnership immediately if we reasonably establish one.
After the partnership ends, you must stop presenting yourself as a Spatial Sites partner and stop using our materials, link and code. You do not earn commission from new uses of your link or code after termination.
You remain entitled to commission on sales completed before termination. A buyer linked to you before termination may still generate commission during the remainder of their existing attribution window, and an attributed membership may still generate commission during its agreed membership commission period. Those surviving commissions use the rate and terms in effect immediately before termination.
We may withhold or recover commission only to the extent it relates to a fraudulent sale or a material breach of these terms. We will pay your final cleared balance even if it is below the usual minimum payout.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our obligation to pay properly earned commission is not limited by the cap below.
Subject to that, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Independence
You are independent of us. You are not our employee or agent, and you cannot make promises or agreements on our behalf.
13. Notices and governing law
We may email notices to the address in your partner zone. You may email notices to contact@spatialsites.co. You must keep your contact and payment details up to date.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
